Our German villas are spread throughout the country, allowing you and your loved ones to enjoy the sights the country has to offer.
Are Germany villas are conveniently located near the city of Frankfurt. This central German city is located on the river Main, and is a key global financial hub that’s home to the European Central Bank. The city is also home to the famous writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, whose home has been converted into the Goethe House Museum. The city, like many other German ones, sustained heavy damage during World War II, but was later re-built during the post-war era.Â
The first place recommend visiting is Frankfurt’s Old Town, locally referred to as Altstadt. The public square, Römerberg, located in the Old Town, is Frankfurt’s most picturesque public square. It’s also the city’s busiest pedestrian zone, and is full of many tourist attractions and exciting activities, including Christmas markets and event throughout the year. Make sure to take some time to visit the square’s many open-fronted shops and Old Town Hall, iconic Frankfurt sites.Â
Our Germany villas are also conveniently located near the city’s many museums. We highly recommend the Städel Museum, with its extensive and impressive collection of painting from the 14th century. This museum is located in the city’s Museum District, which offers many works of art and culture from early modern European history up to modern times. Â
Finally, no trip to Frankfurt is complete without visiting the Palm Garden, the largest botanic garden in Germany. The gardens host lovely outdoor botanical exhibits, as well as a number of greenhouses hosting tropical plant species.
Our Germany villas also make Germany’s capital, Berlin, incredibly accessible. This historic city was home to both Americans and Soviets after World War II, with is unique two-fold nature still apparent to Berliners and tourists alike.Â
While staying in Berlin, we highly recommend visiting the Tiergarten, the city’s most famous park. Especially during the spring and summer, you can find sunbathing spots, famous monuments, and – of course – beer and sausages!
Any trip to Berlin is not complete without a visit to the Berlin Wall Memorial. Located in the middle of the capital, the memorial contains the last preserved pieces of the Berlin Wall. With preserved historical remnants and border obstacles displayed, visiting this section of the wall helps make the history of Germany’s division understandable to visitors.
Our Eifel villas invite you and your loved ones to one of Germany’s most enchanting regions. With fairy tale towns and medieval castles dotes across this region’s countryside, this place is one of Germany’s best-kept secrets. This area is largely quiet and rural, with tons of gentle trails and wildlife parks to explore. More information about booking a NOVASOL holiday cottage in Germany in our Worth Knowing section!
