Fuzine is a very popular destination not only among tourists but also locals. The town offers a cornucopia of outdoor activities and relaxing holiday. There is one unique event here: the New Year’s Eve celebration does not culminate at midnight but at noon, so you do not have New Year’s – here you enjoy New Year’s Noon. Do not miss visiting the lakes Bajer and Lepenica. The lakes’ shores are just perfect for a picnic in nature and after go kayaking. Afterwards regain your strength in a local tavern or a restaurant and try local specialties like wild boar or venison. Wild berries desserts are in a class of their own and we recommend the blueberry strudel.
Activities
Visit the interesting cave Vrelo. The locals consider it the pearl of Fuzine. It has been adapted for visitors of all generations with such detail that it makes it unique not only in Croatia but entire Europe. It measures 300 meters in length and after only 50 meters you can see a mountain spring coming out of the rocks. There is a tourist train starting from Fuzine that takes you to Lepenica Lake and back. Try horse riding, paintball, fishing and many other outdoor activities.
