The picturesque country house Na Peixet was built on an idyllic and tranquil plot with beautiful Mediterranean vegetation. The villa features typical Mallorcan architecture and building materials such as natural stone, clay bricks and oak wood. Terraces and garden paths around the house have been decoratively designed with river pebbles and give the property a very individual flair, also thanks to many other special details. The view from this holiday home is absolutely sensational: you can see both the castle of Artà and the Castillo of Capdepera. There are two roof terraces on the first floor from which you can enjoy fantastic views. The centrepiece of the outdoor area is the slightly elevated pool surrounded by green grass and a lounge terrace. An outdoor shower is also conveniently located nearby, as is the ingenious veranda, the stylishly covered part under which you can sit with a light breeze and sheltered from the sun. Between the pool and the house is the cosy barbecue area with a walled barbecue, which is particularly inviting for delicious barbecue sessions on warm evenings. You can also sit comfortably here on cool evenings and in winter thanks to the modern radiant heaters and windproof glass. Right next to it you will find another highlight of the outdoor area: the small playground. The little ones can play and let off steam to their heart's content. There is a table tennis table and a basketball hoop attached to the outside wall. The covered terrace by the house is sheltered from the wind, so you can sit here late into the night with a good glass of wine and a marvellous view. The castle of Artà is even illuminated at weekends. The villa is fenced in (approx. 1 metre high). You can park directly at the holiday home and the property can be locked with the help of a gate.
This is a Fincallorca holiday home.
The entire living space is optimally divided into a main house and a beautiful separate studio. You enter the main building via the covered terrace and enter the living room. Typical Mallorcan decorations in the form of pictures, artefacts and antiques give the house an inviting, personal touch. The materials used contribute to the elegant atmosphere. The living room is spacious and super cosy, with several sofas and rustic natural stones on the walls, which can also be found in the rest of the house. Above the sofa area, a ladder leads up to a mezzanine floor, where one or two children will certainly enjoy sleeping. A bed measuring 1.4 x 2 is available here. The living room and dining room are connected by a pretty arched passageway. You can enjoy a cosy indoor meal together at the dining table. The dining room branches off into a corridor, which in turn leads to the two bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, ceramic hob, oven, toaster, filter coffee machine, Nespresso and kettle. There is so much space here that even another dining table fits in. The bedrooms on the ground floor are very cosy and provide an excellent basis for a restful night's sleep. Both have a large wardrobe and partially wood-panelled walls. There are two 1 x 2 metre beds that can be combined, while the other bedroom has a 1.8 x 2 metre bed. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, as is the living room. The bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a bathtub, WC, bidet and washbasin. There is also a laundry room on this floor with a washing machine, iron, ironing board and clothes horse. On the first floor there is a large, bright double bedroom with beautiful views, as well as a shower room. The house is heated by central heating. Water comes from the house's own well.
Every Tuesday there is a weekly market in the centre of Artà, which you should definitely experience at least once. It can be easily reached on foot in approx. 20 minutes. Here you will find regional culinary specialities and Mallorcan handicrafts. A few beautiful white sandy beaches are within easy reach, some of which are still considered real insider tips. Canyamel beach is only 10 minutes away by car. Within 15 minutes you can reach the beaches between Cala Millor and Cala Rajada. Golfers will love the proximity to Capdepera Golf. For communication with the owner, the use of Whatsapp (at least one traveller) is mandatory. Care should be taken when hiring a car. The access road has a sharp bend with walls, which could prove problematic for 7 or 8 seaters.
The natural stone villa Na Peixet is situated in an absolutely quiet and secluded location near Artà in the north-east of the island. The view of the castle of Artà is exceptional, especially in the evening. Shopping facilities are less than 5 minutes away. Artà also has several very good restaurants. There are also some partly unspoilt beaches nearby. The journey from the holiday home to the airport takes about an hour.
