Look forward to peace and relaxation by the water in this inviting holiday home.
Tastefully furnished holiday home with atmosphere, directly on the Loosdrechtse Plassen (lakes), strategically located between the cities of Amsterdam and Utrecht. The living room has large open doors that give direct access to the terrace.
The terrace is equipped with high-quality garden furniture and an awning so that you can eat outside. There is a swimming ladder, a private jetty and fencing on the shore, so children can holiday here safely. It is possible to hire a boat and bicycles on site. There is a shared swing and a shelf for the children.
In the tranquil village of Breukelen you will find supermarkets, nice shops, cafés and restaurants. Utrecht, 15 km away, is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands and has a characteristic historic centre with craft shops, canals, low wharfs and shipyard cellars. Utrecht is also known as the cathedral city, because of its cathedral with the highest church tower in the Netherlands. Amsterdam (25 km), the capital of the Netherlands, is the most popular destination for visitors. The Loosdrecht lakes are ideal for water sports. Almost all the lakes are accessible for pleasure craft, but you can also swim and surf here. The many marinas, shops and restaurants make the Loosdrechtse Plassen a lively recreational area. This holiday home is located on the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie, the largest national monument in the Netherlands. The authentic farms, castles, country houses and the exceptional flora and fauna make this area something very special.
Other holiday homes are located in the immediate vicinity and are therefore ideal if you are travelling with a larger group.
The holiday homes are not accessible by public transport. A boat up to a maximum length of 7 metres can be launched for a fee. By arrangement and prior booking only.
Arrival on Sunday not possible.
Please note: Barbecuing is only permitted with an electric or gas barbecue, barbecuing with coal and open fires are prohibited due to the thatched roof.
Please note that your car cannot be parked in the car park from 1 October to 1 April, as boats are parked there during this period. You may park your car on the street free of charge during this period, after which you will have to pay again.
