Would you like to stay right by the water, in comfortable and attractively furnished accommodation where you can enjoy your privacy? And it can't be a hotel, apartment or holiday home that has too much to cope with? Then we would like to introduce you to a very special property. Take a closer look at this unique villa and you'll love it as much as we do. What you see here is an incredibly appealing house in many respects, located directly on the water and facing south. The infrastructure here is very well developed, but at the same time you can clearly see that this was once a fishing village. You can park your car in the car park by the bay and take a leisurely stroll from there to the house, which is approx. 200 m away. The first thing you will notice outside is the beautiful sun terrace, which is accessible from the outside via a staircase and offers an incredibly marvellous view of the lagoon, which is literally right below you. The interplay of sky, water and the exterior façade of the house creates a picturesque contrast that is unrivalled. A chic awning provides some shade outside. Sit here first thing in the morning and greet the new day while you enjoy the fantastic view and plan the day's activities. In the evening, you'll love grilling the fresh local food you bring back from the nearby markets. When you're done cooking, stay out here and savour every bite. But it's not just the sun terrace that invites you to relax outdoors; just off the living room is a balcony with a no less breathtaking view where you can also cosy up for a while. The villa has its own boat shed with two kayaks, which guests can use at no extra charge. Life jackets in various sizes are also available. The outdoor shower is also located in the boat shed.
When you enter the small two-storey house, which we actually only recommend for a small family or two adults travelling alone, you might well get the impression that you are suddenly on board a beautiful boat. Everything here is designed to be straightforward and practical without compromising on aesthetics. Small but beautiful would be an apt description of the interior design of this villa. The uncluttered, brightly coloured rooms create a particularly cosy atmosphere, making your stay inside an all-round pleasant experience. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a small WC. The comfortable 1.50 x 2.00 metre bed is not only a great place to sleep; you can also wake up every morning to the sight of the glittering sea, which is literally at your feet. The living room, kitchen and a small bathroom with shower are located on the upper floor. The kitchen is small but very clean and modern and has everything you need for everyday use. Nothing stands in the way of enjoying a hot drink on the balcony in the morning! Spend relaxing hours in the chic, modern living/dining room and enjoy the view of the sea from here too. Open the huge floor-to-ceiling windows fully and feel like you're at sea while sitting comfortably on the sofa.
In the south-east of Mallorca, there are a number of incredibly beautiful bays with fine sandy beaches that invite you to swim. One of them is Cala Santanyí, beautifully framed by rocky cliffs interspersed with pine and palm trees. Like a fjord, it stretches several hundred metres into the island; at the same time, it offers an unobstructed view of the sea from its sandy beach, which slopes gently into the water. What you have here is a small natural harbour that has always been used by local fishermen to build boats and catch fish; this led to the construction of several small fishermen's houses right here on the waterfront. Nowadays, most of them are either unused or have disappeared, but some of them have survived and adorn the coastline today. With whitewashed façades, traditional monk-and-nun roof tiles and colourfully painted shutters, they contribute significantly to the picturesque atmosphere of this place. Beautifully situated directly on Cala Santanyí, you can enjoy a real maritime experience in the former fisherman's house Cal Tio Miquel. The house stands on a small plot of land right by the water and offers spectacular views of the bay. If you feel like it, you can even swim to the sandy beach from here. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets are all within easy walking distance. Santanyí is about 6 minutes away by car.
