The largest archaeological site on the east coast of the Adriatic Sea can also be found here, where tourist can explore ancient sights. South Dalmatia I Villas Croatia

Our South Dalmatia villas offer amazing towns, islands and sights, a mild climate, Mediterranean vegetation as well as beautiful scenery. The medieval Old Town of Dubrovnik can also be found here and is surrounded by imposing ramparts, which is the highlight of this region. The Dubrovnik area offers many beautiful coastal resorts and many of our Dubrovnik apartments can be found just next to the sea. Cuisine in Dalmatia

In Dalmatia, it is very common to eat healthy food, such as grilled or steamed fish that is served with olive oil, vegetables and wild herbs. The portions are generally very big, which is part of the Dalmatian tradition and makes the dishes delicious and healthy. Cold first courses are quite popular among Croatians, which often include smoked and wind dried so-called prsut ham as well as sheep cheese. To accompany your meal or later on in one of our NOVASOL villas in Croatia, why not enjoy a glass of white wine, some mineral water or the famous spicy spirits Travarica.

Drive to your villa by car, motorbike or bike

The Adriatic highway in Croatia is one of the most beautiful coastal roads worldwide and if you decide to stay in our Dalmatian villas, you will probably drive on this road to access our Split or Dubrovnik apartments. As it is a very curvy road, many people enjoy driving on it by motorbike, which is a great alternative to a car. And it is always worth renting a motorbike for a couple of days, should you have a motorcycle license. Cyclers who are looking for a real challenge should consider a day trip on this lovely road, but be aware of the strong headwinds and the thousands of meters in altitude difference. We hope that we have inspired you for your next self-catering holiday in Dalmatia. Alternatively, find out more about our villas in Istria and Kvarner bay in the north of Croatia.
