The two comfortably furnished non-smoking flats are centrally heated and have separate entrances. This large apartment with balcony is located on the upper floor of the owner's house and a small apartment DZV440 has a furnished sitting area in front of the door and is located on the ground floor of an outbuilding. The approx. 60 square metre apartment has a large living room (upholstered sofa, flat screen TV, radio/CD player, WLAN; limited), two bedrooms (1 x double bed and TV, 1 x two single beds), a separate kitchen (dining table, electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, various small kitchen appliances), a bathroom (bath, WC, shower) and a furnished balcony.
Car parking spaces, garden furniture, barbecue and washing machine (for a fee) are available for both apartments.

In addition to hiking on over 100 kilometres of terrain trails around Friedrichroda, you can also play tennis, go cycling, horse riding, rowing or swimming in the local outdoor and indoor pools. Germany's longest high-altitude hiking trail, the famous "Rennsteig", is only about 3.5 kilometres away and there are also four Kneipp pools and a Kneipp herb garden in Friedrichroda. Nearby attractions include Reinhardsbrunn Castle with its park and three nearby idyllic lakes, as well as the Marienglashöhle cave with one of the largest gypsum crystal grottos in Europe.
