If this is too adventurous for you, there are also numerous hiking and cycling trails in Istria that you can try out. Romantic coastal towns and tourist centers, Porec and Rovinj, are easily accessible along good roads. In the coastal towns you can choose from numerous restaurants serving traditional Istrian cuisine. If you like exploring, the Brijuni National Park and the historic town of Pula are a must. Pula is best known for "Arena" - a Roman amphitheater.
