If you have enough time, don't miss the islands of Cres and Loinj, which can be reached by ferry from Brestova. Istria is known for its excellent cuisine; we particularly recommend the stockfish, mussels na buzara style and the Istrian pasta fui or a barbecue platter with various types of meat, served with a glass of Malvasia white wine, should round off your holiday perfectly.
