Rømø is a great holiday destination. The nature here is marvellous and the entire mudflat region is part of the cross-border Wadden Sea National Park. The island is connected to the mainland by a causeway.
When you are here, you have the opportunity to visit Ribe, the oldest town in Denmark. Or pay a visit to Schackenborg Castle on the mainland in Møgeltønder. There is also a ferry from Havneby on Rømø to Sylt.
