Art lovers must also visit Pisa (32 km), Lucca, the city of towers with the comic event Lucca Comics (28.6 km) and Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance (104 km). For younger guests, the town of Collodi, Pinocchio's home town, is 50 km away. During the summer months, ferry boats depart from Viareggio to the Cinque Terre.
