The Lungomare promenade, which also runs through Ika, stretches from Opatija to Lovran. A special attraction of the place is a fishing evening, where you can feel the way of life of a typical coastal town, help the fishermen to knit a net and taste the fresh catch prepared by local chefs. Today, Ika is also the academic centre of the entire Riviera, as it is home to the internationally recognised Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, which educates hundreds of students from all parts of Croatia and abroad.
