Although this place is quite small, you can visit a beautiful church here (the monastery church of St Peter and Paul the Apostle) if you are interested in architecture and mosaics from the Gothic era. Visit the beautiful nearby town of Pazin. For centuries, Pazin was the strongest Habsburg fortress in the area and the headquarters of the former prince. You can still visit this medieval castle (Kastel) today, as it is well preserved. Today it houses the Ethnographic Museum of Istria and the Museum of the Town of Pazin. Discover the hinterland by hiking or cycling and taste famous Istrian specialities such as truffles.
