This large house offers plenty of space and comfort for up to ten people. With its three bathrooms and 5 bedrooms, it is ideal for groups or families travelling together. The sauna, a small whirlpool, dishwasher, washing machine and magnificent panoramic views promise a particularly relaxing holiday. The terrace leads onto a spacious, open natural plot and has a barbecue and garden furniture. Of course, families are also catered for: a cot, high chair and changing table make caring for the little ones child's play.
There are three parking spaces for you at the house, above the grounds, and a footpath to the house itself. Due to the steep slope in places and the footpath to the house, it is not necessarily suitable for people with walking difficulties. The house is perfectly equipped for a winter holiday: you can store and dry your ski equipment in the entrance hall, warm up your tired muscles in the sauna after an exciting day's skiing and then relax in front of the wood-burning stove.
The Matthias-Schmidt-Berg and the Sonnenberg are two of the most snow-sure ski areas in the Upper Harz in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home. Here you will find pistes of all levels of difficulty for skiers and snowboarders - ambitious skiers can try out the steep slopes, families can enjoy the extensive, flatter runs and there are several ski and snowboard schools for beginners to try out their first turns under supervision. Thanks to a modern snowmaking system and professional piste preparation, ideal skiing conditions are guaranteed. Of course, there are also several specialist shops in the winter sports resort of Sankt Andreasberg that offer hire of ski equipment, toboggans and ice skates.
Of course, Sankt Andreasberg also has a well-developed, 44km-long network of cross-country ski trails for cross-country skiing enthusiasts with easy, medium and difficult tracks. Some of the circular trails lead right past the holiday home village, so you can literally start right on the doorstep.
There is also a toboggan run here, which can also be used in the evening under floodlights. The romantic valleys and idyllic heights can also be explored on one of the many winter hikes with or without snowshoes that are offered in the village.
Sankt Andresberg also offers countless sporting and recreational opportunities in summer: there is a long summer toboggan run and the longest continuous mountain bike route in Europe very close by. White water trails are also close by. If you prefer something a little quieter, you can of course explore the beautiful Harz National Park on one of the many hiking trails. Whether it's the traditional cattle drive in June, the wild Walpurgis Night on 30 April or the famous Stag Calling World Championships in September - there's always something going on here.
The holiday park is car-free - each property has its own car park, which is located above the park. The path from the car park to the holiday home must be walked.
Wifi via external provider for a fee (payable by credit card).
