Those who choose this charming house half can look forward to a relaxing vacation in an absolutely quiet environment in the countryside. The completely stone-built property has two terraces and convinces with a cozy and inviting interior. Vénéjan is an elevated winegrowing village with beautiful views of Mont Ventoux and the Rhone Valley. It is located on the border between the Ardèche and the Vaucluse, surrounded by vineyards and the garrigue. Strolling through the village, you can visit the church and a chapel and see a medieval castle from the outside. There is also a pottery workshop in the village. Visit the charming villages of Goudargues (19 km) and La Roque-sur-Cèze (14 km), and we would also like to recommend the beautiful cascades of Sautadet (13 km). A must, of course, are the magnificent gorges of the Ardèche, which start 20 km away. Also, experience one of the many nearby caves. For nature lovers, the Cevennes are also a highly recommended destination. No less than two long-distance hiking trails (GR42 and GR42 b) and a smaller hiking trail pass through Vénéjan. The landlord will be happy to give you a small guided tour of his farm on request, preferably on Fridays. Then he will tell you about the production of his Côtes du Rhône wines and other products. Vénéjan is a great starting point for hiking enthusiasts of all ages and for hikes at any level. Chickens and horses near the accommodation.
