The approx. 37 square metre, centrally heated, non-smoking flat with separate entrance has a living room (couch, flat-screen TV, radio, CD player, small dining table), a bedroom (double bed), a complete kitchen (electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, various small kitchen appliances) and a bathroom (shower, WC, electric towel warmer). There are also bicycle storage facilities (bicycle shed) on the property, a small seating area on the property, barbecue and W-LAN. Free public car parking is available directly in front of the house or in the immediate vicinity.

It is also the tourist centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District and attractions include the historic old town, the harbour with its passenger boat service, adjoining promenade and numerous catering establishments as well as the Müritzeum, a nature discovery centre with a huge freshwater aquarium and exhibitions on the flora and fauna of the lake district, outdoor swimming pools, boat and bicycle hire, surfing and sailing schools and many shopping facilities. Waren is the gateway to the Müritz National Park, which can be easily explored via the well-developed network of cycle paths (also in combination with the passenger boat service).
