Welcome to this architecturally unique vacation home in the style of functionalism.
The house, standing on eight meter high pillars, is granted a 360° panoramic view over the pretty surroundings. The bridge leading to the house has a glass panel that allows the view into the depths and makes the crossing extra exciting. In the cottage there is an open living room with large window panes that allow a view over the fjord and all the way to Risør, "the white city on the Skagerrak"; at dusk the lights and sparkling water make for an enchanting sight.
The cottage is located in Jegertunet, where there is an outdoor pool, a tennis court and a home furnishing store (open only in summer) with a restaurant. There you can also buy a fishing license for the fish-rich lake Skarvann. The cottage has a canoe, which you can use to explore the lake in a quiet and comfortable way.
Away from the cottage you can rent a boat to visit the restaurant in Stangholmen or go on a fishing trip. The shoreline offers good fishing opportunities and after an eventful and hopefully successful fishing trip you can light the grill and enjoy the day's catch. In addition, there are several good bathing places and sandy beaches along the coastline, which is rich in archipelagos. Norway's oldest ferry shuttles between Øysang and Risør. In Risør you can visit the saltwater aquarium, the fish reception with restaurant, cozy alleys and shops. There are also various events and festivals in this town, such as the wooden boat festival in August. In Stabbestad there is a golf course, a beach club and a spa hotel. The little ones would surely enjoy a day at the animal park "Den lille Dyrehage" in Brokelandsheia. The nearest coastal towns of Tvedestrand, Arendal and Kragerø are also worth a visit.
The houses NAS035, NAS050 and NAS005 are located in the same settlement. Please note that noise may occur due to construction activities.
